Desoto Falls Information Sign, Chattahoochee National Forest, Cleveland, Georgia

Informational sign saying Desoto Falls was name so for a legendary find of Spanish armor at the falls, believed to belong to Hernando De Soto's expedition
The story seems far fetched, but Hernando de Soto's expedition is believed to have traveled close to these Georgia mountains. Stranger things have happened!
